Overall Appearance •
Ratonhnhake:ton for his breed, is a rather small wolf. Standing only at 85cm and weighing only 15 pounds over 100, Raton is in some terms 'dainty'. His paws are smaller then most of the wolves in his breed and he isn't as well built.
He has a dark, rustic, brown pelt that has a soft under coat and a coarse top coat and shocking smoky gray eyes that make him appear blind though he isn't.
◘ Herbs | Raton has had a strong love for herbs and a deep passion for healing ever since he was a pup just barely out of the nursery.
◘ Midnight | The cooling, serene peacefulness of Midnight has a calming effect on Raton and tends to sooth his rattled nerves/
◘ His pack | Raton is extremely devoted to his pack and his leader and loves them with all his heart, even if he may not show it some times.
◘ Silence | There is something strangely comforting about silence to Raton.
◘ Nosiness | Raton hates it when others try to poke their noses where it doesn't belong.
◘ War | War is useless and settles nothing, it only tends to bring around more tension and hatred
◘ Pups | Raton doesn't have a soft spot for pups and finds them irritable, especially when they get under paw.
◘ Disorganization with his herbs | Raton is rather particular with how his herbs are sorted and becomes annoyed if they are not in their proper places.
◘ Healing | Because of his love for healing, Raton settled himself down to learn the basics of healing at an early age and soon became rather experienced in it.
◘ His devotion to his pack | Also a weakness.
◘Fighting | Raton was never one to fight, not even as a pup. He would always lose in play battles against his brothers and to this day hates fighting and does his best to avoid being involved.
◘ His devotion to his pack | Also a strength, Raton's devotion to his pack could mean trouble because if one of his packmates is in trouble the brute would do anything to help them.
• To pass on the knowledge of herbs and healing, that he learned, to someone else as well as learn more on healing.
That he might fail his pack and not be able to heal them.
Overall Personality •
Reserved and quiet is how one might describe Ratonhnhake:ton. He is a wolf of few words and one devoted to his rank and work. He is kind and gentle but also firm and stern when the need arises. He isn't one to strike up conversations nor is he one that would be seen flirting with any female or even taking a mate for that matter. There are other ways one can describe him; a bore, stuck up or as someone who just doesn't like to be bothered.
While it is true that this wolf prefers his quiet time, and that he can be quite a bore because he doesn't like anything that could end up with someone injured, he is in no way stuck up nor does he think he is better then someone else. He loves everyone within his pack and claims they are dear to his heart but he is rather weary of newcomers or strangers and doesn't care to mingle with other packs. He is soft spoken in his speech so it is possible that one might have trouble hearing what it is he said.

Overall History •
Life can be good or bad depending on your out look on it. You can take everything that comes you way in stride and choose to deal with your problems head on or you can choose to take it all on and avoid them. That is what my dear, departed, mother told us. She also told us not to let the little things bother us and to always move forward regardless of the problem. My mother, how I loved her, how I will always -even to this day- cherish her with every fiber of my being.. It is because of her that I am where I am and I will never forget her not even after I depart from this wretched world.
My puphood was very much like any ordinary pups, though I must say I was luckier than most. I had a beautiful mother with a voice from the Heavens and a father that was strong and brave, someone who would do anything for his family, someone that lived and died for us.
I was one of three pups born to my darling mother, lucky her we were all males and rather rambunctious I might add. Always getting into trouble we were, daring one another to go further outside of the lines that were given to us and always seeing how far we could push my patient mother's nerves. My brothers, Katon and Karon, were the best littermates anyone could have asked for and as we grew so did our bound.. We shared a bound that no one could break, we were as devoted to one another as our mother and father were to us.
There is one moment that I can recall that got us all into trouble, a moment that I daresay I wish I could take back. Being at that age where we did not want to heed anyone's word of advice we often ventured away from our den and pack and one that could have ended very badly with lives lost.. My brothers were adventuresome more so than I but I wouldn't part from them and leave them to do things without me. We had heard of a fearsome creature that lived deep in the territory and we wanted to see it for ourselves so with low voices and light pawsteps we left the camp and began to follow the scents that had been left there earlier and found the creature's den with ease but as we got there so did and with a wild yowl it leaped at us!! Horrified we made a desperate struggle to get out of it's sharp and deadly paws. I knew that it was the end for us, oh why did we ever do it! Why did we come here? It was to late to ask these questions, to late to take it back.. One of us was bound to die as none of our pack members knew where we were. I can remember Katon, the eldest of us, yelling at us to stagger to try and confuse the animal and so we did.. OH! Poor Katon, the nasty brute went straight for him and even now I believe that is what he wanted.. I remember hitting something and stumbling and then falling, a sharp pang and then darkness and a strange sense of feeling lost.
When I came to we were back in the camp and in the healers den, I could hear my mother's anxious voice and my father's gruff one and the voice that belonged to the Lead Healer and then I remembered. Katon! Was he alive? Stirring in the nest I had been laid in, I felt a strange pang and was forced to lay back down. Where were my brothers? were they okay? I felt like crying, squeezing my eyes shut tried my hardest to block it all out and then I felt my mother's presence near my and heard her soft voice.
"Raton.. My dear Child.."
OH! The sorrow in her voice, it hurt more then any wound.. Opening my eyes, I dared to look to her and I could see relief in her eyes. "Oh mother, where is Karon and Katon? Are they---" My voice it sounded strange to me, like it was not my own and I felt like I was watching this scene from afar.. My mother's voice interrupted my gently.
"You're brothers are fine my child, but.. Katon.." her voice slowed and quieted then came to a stop as she heard the Lead Hunter enter with my father. I heard the brute tell her not to tell me just yet that I would find out soon enough and so I was left in the dark.
I found out later that because of our stupidity my brother was left blind in one eye and left him with a bad limp that would be with him the rest of his days.
It was after that that we became more docile in our ways and because of our times spent in the Healer's den I began to show an interest in the herbs and ways of healing.. Never again did I want to be responsible for one's injuries.. I refused to learn how to fight and would watch my brothers from the sidelines. Katon seemed to change the most out of all of us and became more determined to prove his worth to the pack. Karon became rather docile and was content to learn how to fight but never truly showed an interest in anything..
As we got older we took our respective places in the pack, my brothers as fighters and I as a healer. We all learned quickly, my brother became quite a team and I began to learn the herbs by heart and was even able to name them by scent.
Our lives were pretty decent from then on.. We were no longer stupid pups but adults that needed to know the difference between right and wrong and then the day that bother our parents were taken from us and it was then that Karon changed.. He became quiet and refused to speak and even ate less and finally one day he disappeared completely.. Leaving me and Katon.
Will we ever find our beloved brother? I will not rest until he is safely back with us...
