FORGIVE ME FATHER FOR I LIKE SIN ☼ It had been long months of the icy grip of Winter, but finally, Summer had finally reached the lands of Zamora. Unfortunately though, now it was stifling hot and the majority of the water had dried up. The lands were plenty with prey for these months were the peak of the birthing season for many different animals that roamed this forest. The trees were lush with greenery and flowers, while the grass was long and full. The streams that had dried up were running steadily and would be very inviting to the soul that wandered in this dreadful heat of Summertime.
Off in the distance, the soft pat of paws to ground could be heard. It was a solitary sound only one pair of paws made this sound. A pair of swirling silver eyes looked to the skies as they began to change their colors. Pinks, purples, and small hits of blue began to dance their way into the clouds and notify all the animals of dusk arriving. His pair of silver eyes and solitary paws belonged to none other than Alpha Tenebris himself. He was on a walk for himself, thinking of the coming up hunting ritual, among other things, Like if Nyxithea was his long lost sister or just another lone wolf he had added to his ranks. Many thoughts stirred in his mind, but he had no one to share them with as of the moment. No one he truly trusted to speak plainly with. It was times like this that almost made him wish he would take on a mate to share his thoughts with, maybe then he wouldn’t feel so alone.
Tenebris hadn’t really had a destination in mind when he left his temple for the day. He just told his Beta that he was going out for a bit and then walked onwards. After a while, he had realized where he was and headed for Stellar Fields. A geogorus field plastered with flowers that only opened for the moonlight. Their array of purples and shimmery blue hues were a sight to see. Knowing of it only because his mother would take him there on full moon nights. They would sit on a flat rock in the middle of the field and he would run in circles around her to see all of the flowers as they bloomed to life. The sweet memory made him grin a bit as the pads of his paws touched the ground under them. A small blow kiss of a breeze fluttered through his black fur and on that breeze came the cooler winds of the night. It felt amazing, to have a small break from the heat.
Taking a deep breath in the Alpha realized he had made it to the Stellar Fields. Looking around he saw no one else at the edges of the forest, it made his ears slightly flatten as he slightly wished for someone to be here. With a sigh, he walked out to the large flat rock that could easily hold three or four adult wolves upon it and sat in the middle. The moon was full this night and momentary the show would begin. Tenebris lifted his head, closed his eyes, and let out a low and long song from his heart to the moon. He wished for peace of mind as he sang. A moment later his song ended and was left to float on the winds. His ears perked forwards and his eyes open and staring at the moon. He has no expectations of anyone to answer him, but if they did he would wait for them. While staring at the moon the flowers all began to open and cast their beautiful glow all around him, it was a wondrous sight. Tenebris grinned and laid down on the rock, silently waiting.

Kraken was alone now. His paw steps were heavy but his heart felt heavier. The winter moons were over and the summer ones had hit full force and claimed the earth as it's victim. A smothering heat was the heat that radiated from the sun's rays, one that seemed to grasp you by the throat and choke out the air you breathed.
He had thought he was contented to be alone but now it seemed, well, lonely. He had set out in the start of the Winter months with an alphess he had met to chase a murderous brute but somewhere along the way she, like the winter snow, disappeared leaving no trace. What was this feeling he felt now? His heart ached and he felt miserable and he wanted to confine his troubles to someone yet... He wanted to tear someones throat out as well leaving them gasping for air.
The white brute placed each paw in front of him like it was painful and not even the sweet smells of the flowers he enjoyed brought joy to his shattered soul then he paused and perked his ears.. A howl, the brute listened closely. The song seemed touching in a way, a song from deep in the heart.
And normally when the male would turn and walk away the large, scarred, brute tilted his head up and let his voice echo that of the other wolf's song.

FORGIVE ME FATHER FOR I LIKE SIN ☼ It wasn’t a very long wait until the song of another brought his quiet waiting to full attention alertness. As the song rang out from a distance away Tenebris picked up his head and perked his ears forwards. It wasn’t a song he recognised from his pack, no this song belonged to a loner. In this land he was unable to force the loner away, besides, the other may be good company. Honestly, any company right now would be good company. With a small sigh the large black brute sat up and looked around. No one was wandering within the field so the song must have came from beyond the tree line. Silver eyes glued to the forest that lay before him as he looked for the face that answered him. Taking a deep breath he glanced around to the flowers and the surroundings of him. Titling his head to the sky once more he let a another song ring out, inviting those around him to come and join him.

Kraken hadn't expected to hear an answer back after he finished his song but the song that echoed his welcomed him to come and join the other wolf. Blinking the brute lowered his head towards the ground and thought for a moment. He was conflicted, he wanted companionship yet then again he wanted to be alone and wasn't sure what he wanted more.
After a moment of silence the white brute began to move fowards towards the direction where the howl came from. Head still low and tail dragging the ground Kraken moved at a stiff but steady pace towards where the alpha male was. What would await him.. Was the howl a friendly welcome or was it one luring him close so he could be killed?
After a short trek through some trees the white male emerged to find the other wolf. Dark eyes swept over the other wolf and anxiety flooded the male but still he moved onwards towards the other calling out a quiet greeting.

FORGIVE ME FATHER FOR I LIKE SIN ☼ After a several moment silence, a white form broke away from the tree line before him and slowly moved towards him. “This must be my company for the night”, Tenebris thought. Quicksilver eyes watched the new form draw closer to the rock he sat upon. Tall and solid, the alpha made no movements, as to keep from the new brute from startling. Hearing the quiet greeting Tenebris bowed his head and began to speak,”greetings, I didn’t expect anyone to answer my song. Since you are here though, I am Alpha Tenebris. The alpha to the Erebos pack. May I have your name?” His voice was friendly, but held his title in it. Assertive. A small breeze blew through the field slightly russling pitch black fur, carrying with it relief from the heat. Patting a paw next to him upon the rock he gave a small grin to the brute before him,”come, I am not so high that I may only keep his perfect sitting place to myself”, glancing around to the flowers,”it is a beautiful sight to behold. Isn’t it?” Shifting his gaze back to his company he waited patiently for an answer.

When all is said and done it will be just me, you and the shadow of death
At once Kraken was able to tell that the other male was an alpha and that conclusion brought about why the other male was here without a pack mate with him. Twitching an ear the white brute gazed steadily at the Alpha Male before dipping his head "I was not expecting to hear anyone out here... I apologize for intruding on it but something seemed to urge me to answer." was the male's response as he edged near a few more paces then paused a few tail lengths away. The white brute was scarred over his muzzle and a deep, long, scar ran over his broad shoulder. Weariness crept over the white wolf as he watched the other but he seemed to relax slightly when the brute spoke his name and asked his.
"Pleasure Alpha Tenenris." he spoke and dipped his head. "My name is Kraken, I have no title as I am a rogue." he said almost flatly his dark eyes returning to the newly named male's gaze. He seemed almost to challenge the other in a way and held a certain ring in his tone as if he were once someone to be noted and at first it may have seemed as if the white wolf would act upon something then after a moment he sat down below the black wolf and tilted his head to the sky, relishing in the breeze that tugged at his pelt. He hated the Winter but he hated the summer even more, perhaps he was never happy with anything. This thought arose in his mind as he stared into the night sky but his thoughts were soon disturbed when he heard the male invite him to sit on the perch with him. Blinking in slight surprise Kraken tilted his head, wasn't it beneath Alpha's to sit with the lowly rogues that were even lower then that of an omega? Weariness once more settled over him as he cautiously stood and moved to sit by the black wolf and murmuring a soft thank you, the white male cast his gaze over the land..
Yes it was beautiful but the brute felt nothing but bitterness as he stared at the flowers. Nothing was beautiful to him now everything seemed to ooze something that mocked him, laughing at him. "Yes." was his quiet reply as he looked towards the other male, dipping down a bit to keep his head from being level with that of the Alpha's.

FORGIVE ME FATHER FOR I LIKE SIN ☼ Tenebris watched as the male before him dipped his head in a greeting, returning the signal back as a note neutral stance. The alpha was in no mood to act out a fight, all he wished for was a bit of company on this wonderful night. His new found company apologized for stepping on his moment, there was no reason to,”no need for apologizing, I sang that song out for those to hear it to be invited here for good company should they need it.” As the exchange of names and titles went about Tenebris learned that his company was a rogue of the land. With a slight shrug, it made no difference to him what he was, as long as he was civil. Tenebris could just about get along with anyone, with the exception of those who wished to harm his pack or take the lands he worked so hard to protect. War brought out another side of him, one that very few souls saw and lived very much longer to tell about it. A force to be reckoned with, but other than that he was a decent fellow and only used his ranking when it called for it. Other than that, he was a fair soul. A no wolf left behind, for it reminded him of his painful mistake with Brielle. His lost sister. Or one whom he thinks he may have found.
Slightly shaking his thoughts away his silvery gaze turned back to the moment in the present. The moon was at its highest now and the stars shined brightly against the blanket of darkness. “So, do tell where your travels have led you. Have you traveled far and wide”, his voice was friendly as he spoke. Tenebris’s ears twitched as he heard the babbling of a stream nearby, making his throat slightly dry from thirst. He would wait for his company to answer him first before making his way to the stream. Silently he sat, waiting for a reply.

When all is said and done it will be just me, you and the shadow of death
The male flinched inwardly. How was it this Alpha was okay with a rogue, the lowest of the low, sitting next to him? The brute merely shook his head and scolded himself and told himself that not all alpha's were cruel and heartless and besides, the Alpah was on rogue lands. Flicking an ear he glanced at the black wolf who had said that he needn't apologize.
Clearing his throat the white brute dipped his head "Then I thank you for allowing me to join you." he said softly before turning his gaze back onto the sky. It was nice to have another to talk to yet it felt foreign to him as if it wasn't quite sure how to do it. What would be best to talk about? A feeling of discomfort washed over the male drowning him and blocking him from being able to think straight. His mind was spinning and he felt the sudden urge to bolt into the woods where he felt safe and sound, where he felt like no one could reach him - not even the gods. Just as he was about to act on it he heard the male speak and let his muscles relax. The black brute asked of his travels and how far he has been.
Dark eyes seemed to grow a bit darker. Concern, worry and anxiety clouded them. Should he even dare speak it? Half of the time he felt as if he were in a dream, fuzzy headed and unsure of where his paw steps were placed each time they touched the ground.. He was not just one but many, voices in his head argued and another side seemed to cloud his true self and darken his judgement and control making him what his siblings called a monster.. He thirsted for blood and he had killed many but his true self never killed for fun only to survive however he couldn't say the same for the dark shadow that crept up and surrounded him like the darkness of night enveloped the world.
"I.." the brute started, faltering in his speech as he recalled his home lands. A land far from here where his littermates and the one he hated and yearned to kill... The one that if was killed would hopefully release this monster that had grown inside of him. Hatred, yes that is what it was. A burning hatred that sought to destroy anything and everything in it's path without a care for what it touched and ruined. "I suppose you could say I traveled far." he responded, his voice oddly calm and even. "I come from a land that doesn't border here and is a few moons travel away.. A forest that is now lost to me." he said, eyes shutting "I came here hoping to find something." he shrugged 'I have seen many things, mountains and forests and met many wolves. I have had many homes but no home to truly call it home." he blinked and looked at the brute, hoping the black wolf wouldn't ask him to explain his confusing speech.
"I am a rogue with nothing but somehow I have everything" he said, eyes moving to look into the forest. His entire being seeming to relax a bit more.

Tenebris sat quietly while listening to the brutes story about his travels. Leaning that he was a long ways from his homelands, it gave him a small pain of how Brielle must feel. If she didn’t leave on her own that is. For she may feel nothing at all about leaving. Slightly shaking his head he brought himself back from his thoughts, glancing to the night sky as the stars twinkled about. A breeze blew through the fields, making his fur and the flowers dance for a moment. Tenebris could feel that it was late in the night, he knew his pack would begin to worry if he didn’t return soon. Looking back to the white male Tenebris spoke,”it sounds like you have been alone for quite some time now. Must be lonely huh?” His question wasn’t meant to harm the moment, but more of a curiosity for what his sister may be feeling. He wondered if she was alone or if maybe she had run away to be with the one whom she loved but knew her pack wouldn’t approve of. The thought almost made him growl at it, if that’s what she did then she should have talked to him. He would have done anything in the world for her. Gritting his teeth he pushed the anger down as it rose,”control yourself”,his thoughts were in his father's voice. Becoming angered for Tenebris wasn’t an option, not unless he wished to lose control of himself. Taking a deep breath he forced himself to relax and return to enjoying the night. A growing thirst overcame him now, he needed a drink, needed to move to stave off this anger. “Thirsty”,he asked the other as Tenebris listened for rushing waters close by. There was a stream now far from where they sat now. Standing he waited for the wolf to answer.

When all is said and done it will be just me, you and the shadow of death
Lonely.. The words struck him and brought curiosity to his mind and a queer feeling to his heart. What was loneliness? To be sure he didn't quite understand for he had never felt that before as he was quite content as he was despite him growing up in a pack and being forced out later. Perhaps because even when he lived among other wolves he never had anyone of them take an interest in him besides his mother and occasionally his father all the rest were to interested and worrying about Binder. The thought of the name brought a snarl to his throat then he remembered the question at hand and shook his large head to and fro .
"Up until now I have never thought about it but now that you mention it I suppose I have never once felt loneliness." he spoke softly then frowned, was that true? He recalled a sick feeling after losing contact with the she-wolf named Adrasteia was that what loneliness was? "perhaps I have felt it in the past few moons." he said, mulling over the thoughts then glancing at the brute he shifted wearily away then straightened his posture. Something was bothering the brute next to him and just as he was about to ask the Alpha the male had spoken again and asked if he was thirsty. Twitching his nose the male nodded.
"I could go for a drink" he said and got to his paws.

Tenebris slightly tilted his large black pelted head at the white brutes answer to his question. It was slightly odd to him how he could feel loneliness in a group, but yet this wolf had apparently felt none of it in his solitary travels. A small chuckle escaped his throat,”well, be lucky in hope that you never do have to feel such. It’s a dreadful feeling to have grip your heart.” Taking in a deep breath the black male stepped off the rock and onto the ground below them. The moonflowers as he called them giving his pelt a purplish-blue glow from their radiate colors. He glanced back to his company to give the notation that they would be making their way to the stream now. Tenebris had a deadly swagger to him, all predator. Fur sleek and groomed well. Clearing his throat the male spoke up,”so if you have everything then why are you pacing the forest at night, as if you were searching for something? Or someone maybe?” Tenebris questions were purely curiosity, just to get to know his company better and make small talk. “You know, there are times I myself pace the wilderness. Hoping she is still out there somewhere. Wishing to find my younger sister whom I lost”,they neared the stream now. Rushing waters could be heard as a small waterfall ran over a one foot drop. Walking up to the edge of the water Tenebris bent his head down and took a drink, once finished he sat down and stared into the waters. Images of his memory of that night played out in the small ripples of the running waters. A sad and mournful look overcame him without permission, out of his control. Closing his eyes for a moment, he sighed, then turned back to Kraken.

When all is said and done it will be just me, you and the shadow of death
The brute mulled over in his thoughts as he stared at his large paws and only looked up and at the Alpha when he heard his speak again. The black brute told him he should feel lucky for not having felt the dreaded feeling known as loneliness and in someways the brute did but something about it bothered him. Why had he never felt it before why only up until now had he never had a feeling sink over him would the pang of loneliness hit him harder and wreck havoc on his already frazzled mind? Drawing in a breath the white wolf let out a huff and just smiled.
"You are right and you are probably thinking why I don't feel it when I'm alone all the time." he said as he too stood up and began to follow the black wolf "But perhaps it is because even when I had others around me I was alone." he answered "Never knowing the difference I suppose my heart and soul are content to be as is.. Alone and without something." he added.
The white wolf held back his pace a bit and stayed a few pawsteps behind the alpha to make it positive that he didn't want a fight nor a challenge while he was sure he could handle himself just fine the male wasn't so sure that he'd care to fight this wolf because he probably would lose in this state of mind.
"BUt of late I have had a queer feeling welling up inside.' the brute shrugged and then paused in his stride when he heard the next question. His heart gave a slight thump and seemed to fall a thousand feet. "I am looking for someone who I was separted from. She was a wolf I met on Halo Beach and we share a connection with a particular wolf.. Somehow we connected beyond that and I found that she had wedged herself into my heart and I was hoping she'd come back to this forest for her pack lies here." he answered with a shrug then frowned. Had he heard right? Was the male looking for a littermate.. How sad to think of losing a sibling when the relationship was comfortable.
"Perhaps you will find her soon. I am sure she is closer then you think" he answered softly "Do you know the reason to her disappearance?" he asked
