ALPHESS ADRASTEIAtag: mentions Rogue Kraken the scent of the beach and sea was thick in the air around the young alphess. the sea swept at the beach as the tide began to come in slowly as each minute passed by. the night time air coming off the ocean wasn't pleasant, but lucky enough the young alphess had the ability of fire. She could never be cold, but simply get shivers from other thoughts than the cold. Hopping from rock to rock that lay half buried within the sand and water that lapped at it. Before she finally hopped off the last one and onto the last of the beach that remained as sand. huffing softly, she shook out her thick fur and found a suitable place to sit back on her haunches.
Normally she wouldn't be anywhere near the halo beach, not that she hated it. Just she didn't exactly trust in the ocean to put it lightly, but in truth she does have a small fear of it. not that she would ever tell anyone, not ever. it would go to the grave with her before she ever spilled anything about that or anything she feared. just something about the ocean she didn't trust or like...maybe it was the fact her element naturally hated water or that she was afraid of the thought of drowning and knew that water was something to never mess with. Yes, so she never messed with the water elemental pack Nereus, in fact she never sees them. Adrasteia would rather keep their interactions to a bare minimum if possible.
giving a heavy sigh, she knew she wasn't here just for the beauty of the beach. of course it was beautiful and especially at night, even though that is when her power is weakest. the way the moon shone on the ocean that sweep back and forth in a harmonious symphony that would put anyone to sleep. The scent sometimes overpowering, but tonight it was subtle. The way the stars shone down on the she-wolf and reminded her that her ancestors were always there, even her parents, and alpha and his mate. but still, she wasn't here for the beauty of the beach. She was here because she had meet a friend here that she had since then lost contact for quite sometime. they had gone an adventure to get the wolf that had made a influence of their lives and not a good one either. a wolf so evil that they both had agreed to go after the wolf...a wolf called binder. a growl ripped out from her throat at the thought of the black wolf that killed her father, brainwashed her brother who then killed their mother before running off. she wanted the wolf to feel pain like no other, and she wanted it to last for eternity. Adrasteia and her friend, kraken, may have failed in getting the wolf but now he knows they both are after him. Fear will now riddle him into becoming paranoid, as she makes it more and more obvious that she and kraken will come after him and they will show no mercy. slowly, she had been taken one henchman down at a time, all the way maintaining her position as alpha in her pack. The henchman have come close to finding where her pack lies, and a few lucky souls have wondered in but not without saying goodbye to their life. Especially when one killed one of her pack mates.
Sighing heavily, she lifted her gaze up to the stars above where they seemed to shine brighter than normally. Adrasteia just hoped kraken got her message to meet up where they had first met. It had been so long since she had seen him and hope things haven't changed much, or between them. She had to admit she missed his company more than most. Why? she thought she just got on so well with him. how their friendship began by the fact that both had in common a wolf that they hated to the ends of the earth. Adrasteia felt a smile crack across her muzzle, she hadn't smiled in months. It didn't help she always had her mind on other things such as the pack, her loses and binder and his henchmen. Always something to worry about or be preoccupied by, was never that simple for an alphess or a wolf like Adrasteia herself. Although, she had signed up for this, and now she had better get use to it.

Kraken
When all is said and done it will be just me, you and the shadow of death
It had been many moons since the white wolf lay his paws on Halo Beach for to him it brought to many memories back, memories he feared would overwhelm him and draw out a side of him that he hated most but the memories weren't bad they were just sad ones, memories of a she-wolf, so spirited and so full of life. A Alpha that had been kind and smiled at him.. A she-wolf that seemed to be able to break through his rough exterior and harshness.. Someone that seemed to keep the monster at bay. Why he had come here again he wasn't sure but something told him that he needed to come back and visit the place once more.
The last time he had been here the air was crisp and cold and seemed to cut to the very core of the every body it touched. Winter, a horrid season and one that Kraken hated most of all but now, even though the air here was cool, the season was that of heat and blistering winds during the day time.
Paw step after paw step brought him near and near to the one he wished to see the most. A face that seemed to lighten his heart and lift the weight off of his shoulders. His ears perked and twitched as if he were listening for sounds but all he heard was the calming sound of the water lapping hungrily at the shore. Slowing his pace the brute turned his gaze onto the water and watched it. A beautiful sight it was, with the moon shinning down on it and giving it a gentle glow with the soft waves that moved ever so gracefully.. How nice it would be to be the ocean, not a care in the world.. Angry on moment and calm the next and moving freely without any restraints. Letting out a weary sigh the brute shook his head, although beautiful the male could not see the beauty that lay in front of him for all beauty seemed to be stripped from him when he was parted from his friend. Again he questioned himself as to why. Why was she any different from any other she-wolf? Little did he know that he was closer to her then he thought. Sitting down the brute tilted his head back and let out a mournful howl that seemed to come directly from his soul.

ALPHESS ADRASTEIAtag: mentions Rogue Kraken the cool breeze softly teased her fur, she had to admit the wind was quite refreshing. Closing her eyes she sighed softly as she tilted her head back slightly. it definitely felt a lot more cooler, it helped cool her ever radiating heat. it never seemed to go her warmth always warm to the touch, it just was her element or maybe her gift of combustion. either way, she generally always was warm, couldn't feel the cold to the point of freezing. the feeling of the refreshing breeze going through her fur made her feel alive and normal. sitting calmly, as she listened to the sound of the lapping ocean, further calming her down and relaxing her. it had been a long time she has felt this relaxed at all. the sounds around her musical and harmonious to her ears, until she heard it. A mournful howl that seemed to pierce her so deeply, she felt like her heart was breaking, even though it was the howl that sounded like their heart was breaking. it was powerful and adrasteia knew instantly who it belonged to.
Rushing to her paws she looked in the direction of the howl before she raced after it. she ran down the beach at full pelt, before reaching rocks and hopped on top of them. Halting she glanced around looking for any sign of the producer of the howl, the brute she held so dear to herself. the howl racked at her more, it pained her to hear it and she could still hear it even though it ended moments ago. she wanted nothing more than to comfort him, for whatever that was paining him. pulling her head back, she howled in return, loud and clear, trying to find his whereabouts. ending her howl, she looked around still, hopping off the rocks and onto the beach below. Adrasteia padded along calmly, til she stopped. sighing, she couldn't find the brute she so badly wanted to accompany. Flopping down on her rump, she felt desperate seep in on her. maybe she was hearing things, maybe the brute she dreamed of seeing actually wasn't here. of course he wouldn't be, how could she be so naive. he had other things to do than see her, better things to do than go see her. besides, why would he be here now of all times?
a heavy sigh escaped her muzzle, she had to leave before she started imagining he actually was here at halo beach. rising to her paws, her tail low with sadness as she turned and began to head back to her packs territory. she didn't need to make more of a fool of herself tonight, or ever. but that is when she spotted a white figure several meters ahead. adrasteia frowned at the sigh, before growling at herself, of course now she had to go imagine him being here when in fact he isn't. rolling her eyes, she padded over to what she thought was her imagination of the brute she missed so dearly. the closer and closer she got the more real it seemed to her, his scent overpowering and not in a bad way. his posture seemed so sad, and defeated, why? stopping short of the white brute, she tilted her head curiously. she couldn't imagine this up, him being sad, why would she? so...it had be...him. Adrasteia felt her eyes light up at the thought of it actually being him, and was ready to race up to him. but instead of doing so....she sat and watched waiting.

Kraken
When all is said and done it will be just me, you and the shadow of death
The white brute ended his song and felt his heart heavier then ever as he stared out at the water. He had no expectations to anyone answering his call let alone the one wolf he longed to see most in this world and when he heard the howl he felt his heart lift and then plummet five hundred feet, how could it be her? How could he even wish it to be her. But the voice, that sweet voice, it had to be her for it sounded just like her.
Letting his eyes eyes travel the beach he searched up and down it with his dark eyes. Where was she? Standing up he looked around, his head acting as if it were on a swivel and then he spotted her. Was it her or were his eyes playing tricks. Putting paw after paw down he edged closer to the female willing her to stay still with all his might and when he realized she wasn't going anywhere he picked up his speed and made his way to her, eyes bright and heart as light as a feather.
It was her.
"Adrasteia!" he spoke her name just as he came to a stop in front of her. His dark eyes searching her eyes "is it really you..?" he asked in a soft, worried and cautious tone.

ALPHESS ADRASTEIAtag: mentions Rogue Kraken Adrasteia simply sat there watching the white brute, she watched the way the breeze swept through his white fur that seemed to glow in the darkness of the night. she watched as he looked around for her, til he spotted her and he slowly moved towards her cautiously, one step at a time. until he ended up bolting towards her. He grew closer and closer, the more excited she felt, the more heart seemed to pound away in her chest. her tail wagged frantically behind her, and she felt the urge to bolt towards him too. however, she simply stayed put, til he reached her and stopped in place. His eyes dark as what she remembered but still captivating for her look at. They held her, they made her feel safe and vulnerable at the same time.
They both sat there for a brief moment silence was all could be heard as they studied one another. the silence grew too much and adrasteia whined softly, as he tail curled around her front paws. until she heard his speak her name, and she felt a deep sigh escape her lungs as though she had been holding it all this time. it felt great to hear his voice speak her name, it sounded right? and she loved it. Adraestia heard his question and scoffed a little, before chuckling softly, "Of course its me, kraken, have you forgotten about me already?" she joked lightly as she looked at him. her silvery jade eyes looking him over making sure the brute was well. it had been a long time since she had seen him last. "how are you? what have you been doing? it has been a so long since i have seen you." she smiled softly at the male before her. adrasteia nudged him gently before rising to her paws, she moved over to where the waves were lapping at the beach. "i have missed you so much...." she whispered softly and she looked out at the ocean. Adrasteia just hoped things hadn't changed too much between them, of course she expected it to in some way after being so long since they had even seen each other.
sighing softly, the female wondered how different it would have been if they hadn't parted ways all that long ago. what if they had stayed together instead of going to do what they needed to do. could they have been more than what they are now? more than friends?? she didn't know, but she doubted it would or could have ended up that way. for now, she was just glad they were friends and that he at least remembered who she was. Adrasteia was just happy that kraken had even shown up here at all.

Kraken
When all is said and done it will be just me, you and the shadow of death
"Oh, Adrasteia." he let out a whistling whine. There, that was the feeling! His heart seemed to pick up speed till it felt like it was soaring. She was there, truly there! She wasn't just a figment of his imagination and if she was he never wanted to leave this dream. Her voice was like honey to him, sweeter in reality. Each word she spoke seemed to to soak in and warm him all over - despite the fact that he was already warm due to being a fire elemental. Feeling her nudge him the brute followed her with his eyes as she went to the shore and quietly followed after a unmistakable urge rising in him to press his muzzle into her fur and stay like that for as long as life willed it.
And then those words, those beautiful words! Had it been any other wolf he would have laughed at it but was it possible that she missed him as much as he missed her? Hope filled his heart and he moved to stand next to her. "Adrasteia.." he muttered her name and pressed his scarred muzzle against her shoulder and sighed contentedly "I cannot begin to say how I have missed you.. You seemed to have entered into my heart without my knowing and I felt a dreadful sense of loss when we got separated.. I came back to this forest in hopes to find you but didn't dare to come to the beach in case I were to never see you again." he murmured the words quickly. "I am so happy to see you again.." Kraken whispered.

ALPHESS ADRASTEIAtag: mentions Rogue Kraken staring out to the ocean that seemed to never end, the moons rays reflecting off its surface making the water glisten in the night. the sound of the water lapping at the shore in a rhythmic sequence, and the breeze as it rustled her fur and the trees nearby. the sound of paw prints pressing into the sand underneath them as they approached the alphess. Hearing his voice speak her name, it always seemed to make her heart flutter a million miles an hour. normally she would be embarrassed any other time, but now, she felt like she could be more open. feeling kraken's muzzle press against her shoulder, she felt herself sigh ever so softly at the touch, closing her eyes she felt herself lean into the touch. it felt great to feel his touch, it wasn't everyday this occurred. even though adrasteia craved it and she could only guess that kraken may also crave it.
listening to the words that spilled out of kraken's mouth so gentle for a brute of his nature. not many would believe he would be capable, even adrasteia when she had first met the brute, but now....adrasteia knows that he is capable of such a thing. a smile grew across her muzzle at kraken's whisper of missing her, oh it seemed like an eternity that she wanted to hear those very words come from him. her heart jumped a little in her chest. as much as she seemed to be in bliss and ever so happy, she didnt know what to expect now or what is to happen with the two of them. clearly they had a connection from the beginning and now have interests, but adrasteia couldn't think of what would then happen. moving away from kraken, she of course was an alpha and he a rouge...why would it change? she looked else where before shaking out her fur, "Perhaps it would be best if i leave..." she really didn't want to, in fact she wanted nothing more than to stay here with kraken and never leave. but she had to.

Kraken
When all is said and done it will be just me, you and the shadow of death
The male's heart had been racing so fast he felt as if he might choke on it as he felt her lean against him and then as quick as she had accepted the touch she moved away and said that she should leave. His heart came to a stand still and he stared dumbfounded for a moment then blinking rapidly he felt a sinking feeling in his gut. They had only just found each other, why did she want to leave? Was she mad at him. His mind whirled and he felt dizzy, shaking his head he grunted.
"I suppose being an Alpha keeps one busy." he answered her in a odd tone, his dark eyes sweeping over her. "But if you left I would feel the empty space that your entire being seems to have captured." pinning his ears back he looked away from her "but I will not hold you back if you insist you need to leave" Kraken glanced back up at her and then sighed. He felt so many things in his heart but he was unsure how to speak them and he knew it would only trouble her despite him thinking that she , too, felt the same stirrings in her heart.
He had questioned himself since meeting her. Why her? He had met plenty of other females and he had certainly flirted with his fair share but none had ever been able to capture his heart and make it soar the way Adresia did. Her scent, her voice, her very presence sends his mind into a state of utter bliss but.. He was a rogue, a monster that had the blood of others tainting his paws and she was an Alpha, a beautiful and kind hearted wolf that only sought the death of one and that was to get revenge for her and her family and keep her pack safe how could they be together? Even if he decided to join her pack he was sure that their relationship would be looked down upon. Looking away from her, he set his eyes onto the horizon and stared quietly out at the water, the rushing sound of the waves flooding into the deepest parts of his brain.
Yes, how could they be together? No. It was entirely impossible, completely and utterly impossible. Forbidden and looked at with scorn. Sudden anger bubbled into his stomach but he forced his exterior to remain calm and shutting his eyes he let out a quiet sigh.
I love you..
My heart yearns for you...
Can't you hear it beat?
I want you, only you..
You are my light.. The only thing keeping the monster at bay..
Don't leave me.
Suddenly as quick as his anger had formed it was gone and replaced by a sorrow that he had never felt. He yearned to speak those things to her but didn't dare. He should push the thoughts from his head. How stupid he was. She was an Alpha and needed someone who would love her and take care of her and help her protect her pack.
Swallowing the brute looked to her and gave a smile. "Stay with me for a moment more.. I think I can go on if I just have you for a moment more." he uttered the words in a whisper. "just a bit more." he added in a quieter voice.
