somehow through the storm I couldn't get to you #### ♦ @tag
A tiny brown dot walked along the horizon with a steady gaze as the sun began to set peacefully. Soon the dot revealed a fae with dark blue eyes, and her tail was held to a high standard as her paws touched the grass as moved along the trail while gently turning her head to make sure no on was behind her. Nereyda stopped at the edge of a cliff her claws locking in the dirt as she stood looking down at the bottom. With her head lowered she slowly closed her eyes. She could almost smell the fresh scent of the waterfall as it rushes down into the lake below. Nereyda's bright eyes open widely and sigh. The wind tickled her pelt as she stared at the pigments that shined on the waterfall in a colorful array. This site always reminded her of when her mother took her and her brothers out to see something similar of the sort. Nereyda lowered her ears in sadness at the memory of her family. She was never the one to like to show people her loneliness though it does sometimes show in her mood swings. Still in her thoughts she lowered her body down to the ground with her paws slightly dangling off the edge. All she wanted was a little quiet time to herself.

A napping shape of darkness sprawled out upon the throne that sat in the middle of the room breathed in a slow pace. A large head hung off the side of the stone chair. Jaws slightly ajar as the dark mass breathed through its mouth. It was a hot day, one that could drain an animal of all energy to move or even be awake. Luckily this mass was hidden from the sun's harsh rays by thick walls. Only small sunlit fingers snuck past through cracks and gave some light into the temple of Erebros. The large plot of darkness called Tenebris had been sleeping well until the sounds of caretakers and pups walked and ran through the large echoey room to stir him awake. A pup had even run smack into his paw that hung from one side of the chair, a low grumble in the massive throat hurried the pup to run away outside with the others. It was then Tenebris opened his silvery eyes and sighed.
“Just a small nap, that’s all I asked for”, sighing the massive brute rolled his body to lap perfectly with his paws on the floor.
Yawning, the alpha moved to the outside where the evening sunshine had instantly warmed his ebony colored pelt. Out on the grassy area before the steps into the temple were warriors, caretakers, and pups alike. Soon the pups would be choosing duties to be mentored into by an adult of that particular duty. A twang of sadness hit him hard as he realized he may never have the proud look on his face that the fathers and mothers of the pups had at this moment. Tenebris laid his ears for a split moment, then perked up and nodded as the night patrol headed to patrol the borders of their lands.
Barking to catch the attention of his beta, Tenebris spoke softly,”I will be gone for a night. Watch over the place will you.” The beta nodded and returned to playing with his son and daughter, teaching them to fight. With that, the alpha quietly slipped into the shadows and out for the Fluorescent Falls.
It was dusk when the ebony brute arrived at the waterfalls. Color had begun to show in the waters, colors of all kinds. Mixed and mingled as they flowed down the river. It surely was a sight to behold and amazement since no one knows how the colors became to be in the waters. He needed some time to himself, some time to recharge from being the alpha. Tenebris hadn’t been walking very long when a scent filled his nostrils. A scent he recognized but only faintly. Moving forward towards the source of it he found a fae laying down beside the rushing waters. As the stature of an alpha, his tail instantly went over his back and his ears perked, listening and smelling the air to see if she was alone. Indeed she was.
On silently paws the male moved forwards, keeping a bit of a distance between them should he startle her and she attack. “Beautiful isn’t it”, his swirling silver eyes were glued to the fae as the sun began to go down behind some trees and the colors became brighter.

somehow through the storm I couldn't get to you #### ♦ @alpha Tenebris All was going nicely for Nereyda with having some time to herself. Especially hearing the gentle crashing of the waves subduing her into a small nap. But it soon her joy of being alone was taken away, once the fae felt the slight touch of darkness behind her. Her brown ears quickly perked up from the side of her head. Nereyda didn't exactly know who was in her presence but it surely didn't help that she was already in a sour mood and the added company made her annoyed. She was planning to just ignore the figure, but instead she heard the figure's voice begin to speak on how beautiful the falls were. "Yeah, and it was quiet too before you showed up..." she thought to herself sarcastically. Nereyda finally opened up her eyelids to reveal her blue hues with an annoyed expression. "Yes, it is. The falls are also great for having time to yourself." Nereyda spoke with only a tiny hint of a tone to try and hide her feelings of annoyance. Turning around she soon discovered that the figure was a silver eyed black male. She soon felt the familiarity slowly come to her as she studied his stature. Even her stance change as she began to give off her authority as an alpha. Nereyda then started to feel the pang of regret for snapping at the male, "I'm am sorry for my tone earlier, I was just resting as my day has not been the greatest. So please forgive me for my lack of courtesy." while adding a small nod after her apology.
