She laid in the cool grass waiting for the sun to rise and then sighed. Well, today was better than any other day. Her son, Ryze had left the day before to adventure out on his own but he promised to visit again sometimes. It had been hard to let her only pup go. After all, it was he that had brightened her days the most besides his father. Fenix knew nothing of if he was still alive. But she let both males slip from her gaze. But as long as she was not back at her birth pack, she was fine with that. The female moved to lay on her belly before standing up and stretching out her muscles. Then she sat down watching the sky continue to grow lighter. It was impressive really how the sky turned from dark to light. Giving its warmth and love to those of the day and then those who thrived on darkness their time. Then you had when it was raining and snowing. She didn't like either weather types or powers for that matter. Course she had never stuck around to chat with any wolves that had the powers. The sun finally poked over the horizon and with that she lifted her head back letting out a howl. The howl was for anybody in the pack, she didn't care as long as they weren't rude to her. If you came at her the wrong way, she could return the amount right back at you, and that would be lesser and kinder thing she could do. Lowering her head she listened silently to see if she would get an answer. Alphess Adrasteia

the young alpha female lay in her den, comfortable but yet lonely. it wasn't somewhere she stayed very long, other than sleep at times. Even then she could be found sleep somewhere else just because she felt lonely. the room so big and spacious, she felt tiny within its walls. It didn't feel right to her being in this place. she remembers the days when she use to be just a hunter. she smiled softly, those were good days at times. to sleep with your fellow hunters that you worked to get hunts together, most you were close to. you had to, as I felt you didn't trust someone whilst on a hunt, things can end pretty badly. so all usually got on really well and enjoyed each other company.
sighing softly, the alphess stepped out of den and walked down a series of coordiors which only she knew which way lead to her den. Not even her own pack mates knew. which but her at ease knowing no one could possibly find her in her sleep and hurt her or something. however, makes her feel that much more lonely and isolated. she needed her pack for comfort, they were her only family now and she would protect them and be there whenever she needed her. Doesn't help she in a room no one knows where.
padding silently she found her way outside and sat down at the entrance for a moment. Looking out onto the endless expanse of desert. the sun hadn't quite yet graced itself with her presence quite yet. Not that she minded. the cool air relaxing a soft it ruffled her fur gently, her eyes closing at the sensation. it seemed like only a moment before she opened her eyes and the sun had began to peek and show itself fro, behind the dark clouds. she shook her head a little disappointed, but yet relaxed. she would have much rather enjoy the coolness of the morning than feel the heat that would be soon baking the desert.
suddenly hearing a distant howl, her ears perked her as she rotated her ears to where she heard the noise. turning her head to the direction of where the source had come from. towards their border. a frown formed on her face, she didn't know why there was a howl coming from there. maybe one of her packmates found something? the howl didn't sound distressed though, in fact sounded different to many of her pack mates howls. either way, it would be best to interrogated. giving a howl of acknowledgement, she than began to head in the direction of the howl. running at a steady pace, as sand flicked up behind her. ears pulled back and eyes focused ahead.
---
it only took her a few moments to reach source, the scent that filled her lungs didn't smell anything of that in the pack. It is differently and unfamiliar. her pace slowed to a walk as she headed through the grass that meet their border and spotted in the sand. it was a surprised anything grew in there territory being all desert. spotting a frame and face, the scent growing stronger as she grew closer. stopping a few metres back she stayed standing as to not allow herself to be caught of guard. her muscles tense and ready for anything that could happen. the other wolf, a female, sat on her haunches. her body giving off the impression She wasn't there to fight. however, she knew better, it all could be an act. lifting her muzzle she sniffed the air to see if any other wolves were nearby. not a single whiff besides the females scent.
drawing in a sharp breath she spoke, "what brings you here?" she spoke calmly and filled with authority. to show she meant business, she wasn't to be here and wasted time. must be important if the female howled, yet she is a loner. what did she want? adrasteia wondered silently as her pale gaze watched over her.

Fenix's ears rotated as a howl came back and she sighed slightly. Well, least somebody acknowledged her. With a lazy yawn she looked down at the grass beneath her paws for a bit. She hoped Ryze was okay on his own. With him being her only pup, she would worry twice as much. Her attention snapped back as a voice sounded before her and she looked up spotting a female. She gave a quick glance around before nodding and speaking, "Hello, my name is Fenix. I was hoping to join your pack if you were in need of members." Her voice was strong and determined, showing weakness anymore wasn't really her strong suite anymore. The day she nearly killed everybody in her pack was the day she stopped being weak. "And if I may be so bold as to say, who am I speaking with?" she asked turning her head slightly from the sun that had begun to shine in her face.
